Rudi is a Financial Planner and founder of Key Financial Planning. He founded the business in 1994 and is a qualified Certified Financial Planner. His passion is retirement planning and ensuring his clients achieve their financial goals.
Outside of the office Rudi is an accomplished guitar player and you can catch him playing around the Newcastle area.

Kelly has worked in the Financial Services industry for the last 15 years. In addition to financial planning, her background includes experience in working with estates and trusts in the fiduciary services and private wealth space. She holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the Australian Catholic University and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from Finsia. Kelly has been a part of the Key Financial Planning team since April 2013. She enjoys working with clients to educate them on financial matters and make them feel confident about their financial future and what they can achieve.
On her weekends Kelly enjoys supporting local businesses while exploring the various local markets that Newcastle has to offer.

Michael has been working in the Financial Industry for over 25 years and has been employed as a Financial Planner since 1998. Michael has completed an Associate Diploma in Business (Accounting) and a Diploma of Financial Planning. He is also a qualified Certified Financial Planner. Michael works in all areas of financial planning, specialising in strategy design including wealth accumulation, retirement planning, asset protection, aged care and self managed super funds.
Away from work, Michael is an avid cyclist and has participated in several charity rides over the years, including a ride from Sydney to Melbourne.
Mark Pryor has been in the financial services industry since 1990. He is the key strategy and research resource within Key Financial Planning. Mark has been preparing strategies and designing portfolios for over 20 years.
While not at work Mark enjoys spending time with his family and camping.
Sharon is our Practice Manager and has been with Key Financial Planning for over 15 years. Sharon oversees the day to day operations of the business and enjoys managing the dedicated and motivated team. She is committed to ensuring each client has a positive experience and our high standards are upheld.Given Sharon’s extensive background in client services, she has a wide range of knowledge in all administration areas of financial planning.
When not at the office you might see Sharon walking around lovely Lake Macquarie with her treasured dog Jess. Sharon also enjoys visiting her daughters, spending time with family and friends and going away in her caravan.
Allison is the Personal Assistant to our senior adviser Michael Spratt. Allison has worked for Key Financial Planning for 5 years and in the Financial Planning industry for 15 years.
Allison is focused on providing exceptional service to all our clients. She enjoys the various challenges her role provides, in particular developing and streamlining administrative processes to improve organisation and efficiency.
Allison has the following qualifications: Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), Diploma of Financial Services, Certificate IV in Financial Services, Certificate II in Business (Office Administration), Certificate III in Information Technology, Certificate II in Information Technology.
Away from the office Allison is busy caring for her young family and enjoys supporting her children at their various sporting activities.
Suellen is responsible for our reception at Key Financial Planning and providing assistance for a wide range of administrative requirements. Suellen has previously been administration manager for a general insurance brokerage and prior to that Suellen was administration officer of a metal fabrication company, responsible for providing administrative and accounting support.
Apart from raising her family Suellen also likes to stay fit and regularly participates in a range of sporting activities including triathlons and running events.
Bookkeeper & Part Time Receptionist
Julie is our bookkeeper and parttime receptionist and has been part of the Key Financial Planning team for over four years.
Julie is focused on providing a welcoming friendly atmosphere for our clients as well as ensuring they receive the best possible service and outcome.
Julie has a Certificate IV in Accounting and has had over thirty five years experience in clerical administration and accounts across a wide range of industries.
Outside of work Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves jigsaw puzzles, reading and walking or bike riding some of the great Lake Macquarie tracks.
